The Management Interface allows us to standardize the codes of different Brokers with the codes of the BackOffice iTraffic

Steps to follow in the configuration of the interfaces

You must follow the steps in the order listed in each case, in addition, observe that there are mandatory associations for the proper functioning of the interface.

It also has the ability to sort the ascending or descending columns and have control of the order of the data that is displayed.

Interfaces

You must specify all the data of each Interface, using the Modify option, when using the option, the possible editing fields are enabled.

  • Specify a valid Operator, to which all the reservations that are made will be associated.
  • Specify the minimum number of days of Expiration.
  • Set the% that will apply to the rates.
  • Activate or deactivate the interface.

Homologous codes

You must associate all the codes of the interfaces if you want to use them in the Interface, for that you should follow the following order:

  • Update and Associate Countries. After updating through the Search Online Updates button, all the countries with which you want to work in the Interface must be associated. It can be added to Traffic by selecting one or several countries, it will be added with the same code or another if it already existed. There is a button to associate by the same name, where associates Traffic countries that have the same name as the countries of the selected Interface.
  • Update and Associate the Cities. It is the same as the previous point, with the exception that you can only associate or add Cities that your country already has associated with Traffic, otherwise this association should still return to point 1 and make the association.
  • Update and Associate Hotels. Hotels must be updated through the Search button Update Online in the installation, then, as new hotels are found, they will be automatically added to the database, keeping it updated. This online update may take some time (even hours) depending on the interface, so we recommend using it during non-business hours.
  • Update and Associate the Categories. You must update and associate ALL the categories that are loaded for the interface, otherwise you can generate errors when creating the Eventual of the hotel that is not the associated Category. If there is no category in Traffic that can be associated, it should be added, but all of them must be associated.
  • Update and Associate the Currencies. The currencies to be used must be updated and associated, depending on the destination and the interface. All those who associate must have their quote in Traffic as well.
  • Update Room Types. Room types must be updated, these data do not need to be associated, but they are needed in the system.
  • Update Regimens. Regimes must be updated, these data do not need to be associated, but they are needed in the system.

Set priorities

There are several types of priorities defined:

  • EVERYONE. All Rates will be displayed.
  • AVAILABLE. Only rates with available seats will be shown.
  • LOWERPRICE. All rates will be shown and if the hotel appears through several interfaces (with the same name), the lowest price is shown for the first occupation.
  • ACCURATELY AVAILABLE. Only the rates with available seats will be shown and if the hotel appears through several interfaces (with the same name), the rates with available slots of lower price for the first occupation are shown.
  • NONE. No price will be shown.

There is a GENERAL configuration, which appears with a GENERAL name, which governs the default behavior of all interfaces. This configuration can be edited, changing the priority to any of the defined priorities.

Priorities can be established for an INTERFACE, a COUNTRY, a CITY and a HOTEL, the hierarchical order would be:

GENERAL INTERFACE COUNTRY INTERFACE.COUNTRY CITY INTERFACE.CITY INTERFACE.HOTEL

That is, the priority is inherited from left to right, if one is not specified, take the previous one.

Example: The GENERAL priority is set to AVAILABLE. For the MAD City it is defined that it will have a PRECISE AVAILABLE priority. Then, for the different destinations of MAD, all available prices will be shown. MAD will show the available ones, but only the broker that has the lowest prices of the Hotel if it appears in several interfaces. Now, if we add a priority to the Hotel RITZ MADRID in MAD for Miki and GTA with priority ALL, the lowest and available prices will continue to be shown, but if the RITZ MADRID hotel exists in any of the interfaces, it will show all your prices. The PRECIODISONABLE and LOWERPRICE priorities would be prioritized by the same Hotel in different interfaces, so it can only be established, for GENERAL, COUNTRY and CITY.
